Terms and conditions
These terms govern the 3style app for iPhone and Android and this website. They are written to be read: if something is unclear, write to us.
Who we are
The service is provided by 3style. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you are a consumer, nothing in them limits the rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
The service
From a photo of one piece you own, 3style creates three complete looks around it, shown on generated full-body models. The app is in development: features may change, and some may be available only in certain countries or languages.
Your account
You need an account to use the app: you can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. You must be at least 18 years old.
One account per person. Keep access to it secure: you are responsible for what is done with it.
Free and Premium
3style is free to start, with a monthly allowance of generations. Premium is an optional subscription with a larger monthly allowance and extra options, described in the app before you buy.
A generation counts only when the complete set of three looks is delivered: if it fails, it is not counted. The allowance renews at the start of each calendar month, and unused generations do not carry over.
Purchases through the stores
Premium is sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their terms. The price is shown in the app and by the store before you confirm. We never see your payment details.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or annual, unless you turn off renewal in your store account before the renewal date (Apple asks for at least 24 hours before). Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it. After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid.
Refunds are requested from the store you bought from and follow its policies: we cannot issue refunds for store purchases. If you live in the European Union you may also have a statutory right of withdrawal, which the store applies. If a price changes, the store tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your agreement before renewing.
Your photos and your looks
The photos you upload remain yours. You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you: reading the piece, creating the looks and showing them in your account. The licence ends when the photo is deleted, at your request or together with your account.
We do not publish your photos or your looks and we do not use them for advertising. You can save and share the looks created for you for personal use.
By uploading a photo you confirm you have the right to use it.
What you may not upload
Upload only clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Never upload:
- the face of a real person, your own included: if a face appears it is blurred automatically, but crop it out when you can;
- images of minors, in any form;
- nudity or sexual content;
- illegal, hateful or violent content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
- photos you do not have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Do not try to get around the limits or the security of the service, access it by automated means, copy it or resell it, or use it to harass or impersonate anyone.
In case of serious or repeated violations we may refuse a photo, pause generations or close the account. Except in urgent cases we will tell you why, and you can reply.
The looks are illustrations
The looks are styling suggestions. Colours, textures and proportions may differ from the real piece, and an image is not a guarantee of fit, size or colour.
3style contains no shopping links and does not sell clothing.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep 3style available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Features may change or end; if a change significantly reduces what Premium includes, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded: for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.
Within those limits, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably be foreseen, or for how the looks are used.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the app at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent: profile, photos and looks are erased. It does not cancel a store subscription, which you cancel from your App Store or Google Play account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will tell you in the app before significant changes take effect. If you do not accept them, you can stop using 3style and delete your account.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute before the courts of the place where you live.
Before going to court, write to us: most problems can be solved quickly.
